Sounds On Sunday supporting Hot Chip

After what's probably gonna be a huge night on Saturday the 4th with the Dynamite 1st Birthday party, I'll be playing Sounds On Sunday at the Greenwood on the 5th from 6-7.30pm. Its sure to be a fun night, with main headliners Hot Chip (UK) back from Spendor In The Grass to do a spanking hot DJ set. SELECTA!

Dynamite turns 1!

Well, we made it. After 11 great months, Dynamite turns 1 on August 4th. From its birth Count Doyle & I have brought nothing but good times, and always with the Dynamite twist... a crazy Halloween party, an Australia Day one off at Spectrum, and month after month of skanking good reggae based tunes. To celebrate making it this far, for our birthday we asked our old friends Glen Skorcher & Splitter to join us behind the decks as well as a very special live performance by The Versionaries. Its gonna be a cracker of a night, so make sure you get in early cause this one will definitely pack out! See you on the dancefloor.

FUGLY launches Friday 18th of May!

What do you get when you put 4 of Sydneys up and coming DJs in a room together with no set music policy? A pretty damn good time! Once a month, resident DJs Captain Franco (Dynamite), Burn The Disco Inferno, Anna Lunoe & Jimmy Sing (Ro Sham Bo) will be getting together at Surry Hills Bright N Up Bar, for, well, pure adulterated musical mischief. You might hear anything from Bonde Do Role to Bobby Brown and Three 6 Mafia to The Steve Miller Band.... We dont know, and neither do you. Yen & Adidas Originals Presents Curvy 4 Afterparty

Next Thursday (29th of March), I'll be playing at the afterparty for the launch of 4th annual CURVY, featuring female graphic designers and illustrators from 20 countries around the world pproudly presented by Yen Magazine & Adidas Originals. Its a stellar line up including the Mercy Arms, Muscles, GameBoy/GameGirl, Sleater Brockman, Pop Tarts, DJ Kato & of course, MYSELF. The mischeif starts 9pm at the Gaelic Club!

Bad Kids Recreation club

I'll be getting up to mischief every Saturday as one of the residents at Bad Kids Recreation Club, the new night by the lovely fellas over at Boundary Sounds. Weekly, Bar Broadway will be turning into a funhouse of party tunes by DJ's PhDJ, KATO, SLEATER BROCKMAN and of course myself! Expect Hip Hop, Rock, Sex, Electro, Drunkenness, Baltimore Club, Party Treats, Indie, Disco punk, Nudity, New wave, Baile funk, Pop, Booty, Dancehall, Crunk and whatever other amazing shit bad kids love! $15 on the door, but I can guarantee it'll be worth every penny! Dynamite Trojan Explosion

Dynamite returns for an Australia Day Special, this time with a VENUE CHANGE and the BIGGEST LINE UP EVER! DJ's Captain Franco & Count Doyle will be joined by special guests Jimmy Sing, Glen Skorcher, Andread, Kingsway & Burns @ our new 2nd home of SPECTRUM. We'll still be rockin on at the Bright 'N Up, but this just gives you 2 reasons a month to leave the house now!

Happy Endings (Charity Event)

You can catch me spinning my party killer set at the Viper Bar (level 2 @ the Burdekin) on Friday the 15th of December for a one off charity event called Happy Endings. Health Club

Surry Hills newest night of musical madness, Health Club (at the Flinders Bar) is being transformed into an island paradise to kick off summer on the 16th of November. In order to get the vibe right Dynamite Sounds (Count Doyle & I) have been invited to take care of the music and will be dropping roots, rocksteady, reggae classics & killer ska bombs.
